New Tracsis service launched to support busy bus operators

16 February 22

Tracsis Transport Consultancy is now able to support bus operators with bus scheduling, timetabling and resources after expansion of its in-house scheduling team.

With the current shortage of bus drivers, this new service also gives operators advice and support to help them make alterations to make better use of limited resources.

Andrea Higginbottom, Head of Business Development at Tracsis Transport Consultancy, explains more: “Although most bus operators already have their own planning and scheduling teams for day-to-day operations, it can be a struggle to cover short term absence, manage additional projects such as tendering opportunities or deal with a surge in workload.

“Our new team of schedulers can help operators who need a fast turnaround on a particular problem, with experience working for a range of companies using a variety of software systems, including Omnibus. We can also provide training and coaching to current schedulers to upskill the team and we can even back fill roles.”

The company is already seeing demand for these skills, including supporting an operator’s bid proposal in Sydney.
