As a Test Lead at Tracsis, you will actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from assessing business requirements and design through to testing, deployment and post implementation support. As a Test Lead at Tracsis, you can guarantee that there will be a lot of variety in the work you do. One day you might be pro-actively developing brand new greenfield functionality, the next you might be working directly with customers to improve existing products. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Take a lead role in ensuring software is delivered to a high quality standard
Ensuring that software is adequately tested, covering both functional and non-functional requirements
Working as part of a development team, providing support to developers
Analysis of product requirements
Liaising with clients to capture and specify requirements
Identifying gaps in test coverage and ensuring that these are closed
Estimating resources and identifying risks to achieve project goals
Assisting the product team with sales processes, such as high-level estimation and planning
Experience (Essential) Skills and Experience:
Proven ability to write automation tests, using C# or Java and Selenium
Extensive experience writing end-to-end tests for web applications and RESTful services
Experience writing integration tests across multiple micro-service endpoints
Experience delivering tests in a SCRUM/Agile environment
Experience of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and tools such as SpecFlow or Cucumber
Experience designing a well organised test suite, ensuring efficient builds and early feedback.
Accuracy and meticulous work ethic
Self-starter who is highly organised, communicative, quick learner and team oriented.
Experience interpreting RESTful web services using Swagger, and Pact
Experience of working in a Continuous Integration environment
Experience of Linux and AWS
Knowledge of functional programming languages
Excellent communicator who is comfortable meeting with clients and developers
Excellent time management skills and is able to manage current multiple projects in time-sensitive working environments
