Repair Technician

Derby – office located at Pride Park
Up to 37.5 hours per week
Supply Contract

MPEC specialises in remote condition monitoring technology, providing industry data acquisition units designed for the unique safety and environmental requirements of the rail industry.

To enhance our existing team, we are looking to recruit a temporary Repair Technician to assist with hardware repairs.

You will have:

  • The ability to competently solder and have experience of PCB repair.
    The ability to repair and re-work PCB’s at component level. PCB track repair work is not required.
    Experience of SMT and Through hole type PCB
    Familiarity with standard electronic components and identification (resistors, capacitors and diodes).

Any fault finding or electronics circuit knowledge would be welcome but not essential and training will be provided on the job.
